Kate is passionate about protecting our environment and is strongly committed to ensuring Indigenous communities have a voice in water stewardship and governance processes. She has a B.A. in Environmental and Native Studies from Trent University and a M.E.S from University of Waterloo. Kate has 12 years of experience working in the environmental field and with Indigenous communities across Canada and rural, remote communities in developing countries. She has worked with the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER) since 2014.
